Tool #7

I'm going to scream!!!! I have my story but it won't upload.

Tool #11 reflections

My favorate tool was the image generator, I loved making my pictutres turn into different things.  I think the kids will like taking pictures and chosing how they will be printed out.
I have learned there are different ways to incorparate itechnology into my lessons and make my students want to learn more.
Pasting things onto my blog was difficult for me.

Tool #11

The first thing I would teach the kids is how to handle the computers and i-touches.  The computers might look like toys but they are not. I would teach them what cyberbullying and what would happen to them if they do it.  Also to report it to me if they are being cyberbullied.  Teach the kids about Internet website safety, they can't go to a website if I haven't ok it.  I will teach them to come to me if they get to a bad website on accident.

Tool #10

I am very excited to be getting i-touches this yr.  My son has an i-touch and I have played on it numerous times and have found educational games that my students can use.  I think the kids will like the i-touches because they are smaller and the in thing now a days.

Tool #9

I think Skype would be awesome to use as pen pals even in another Spring Branch school.  The kids can talk to other students studying the same subject.  The kids can help each other understand the concept if they are not getting it.  I do want to do this this year with another school in the district.  I am very exited about using this application.

I think this is a very cute and catchy song for our kindergartners.  it talks about eating healthy and eating fruit and vegetables and they will make your mouth happy.

This is a good video to show the kids when we are talking about jump rope for heart.  The P.E. teachers talk about it but if the teachers played this video it might motivate the kids more.

Tool # 6

I think this would be a great tool to use second semester with my students.  I think it would be a great way for our book buddies to comunicate with my students during the week.  It will be good for both sets of students to help eachother with projects.

Tool #5

I like this one because I can share sites that I find with my team.

I found this site that has recipes to do for Halloween. We can use these to incorporate some fun activities with our language arts lessons.

I found this site that has Easter activities for the kids. I like that some of it is interactive as well.

Tool #4

Ok I tried making a scrapbook on google doc and it was taking too long to down load the pictures.  I will figure out how to make a scrapbook so I can take lots of pic of my students and sharing them with my school. I made a team calendar to make sure Kinder team knew what was happening at school. I think if I keep playing with google doc I will be able to use it more.

Tool #3

Ok once I figured out how to save it to the blog I was fine.  I love making picture puzzles.  I am going to try and take pictures of my students and make them into puzzles then print them on tagboard and may cut the pieces out and see if they can put them together in a center.

This is sooo cool!!! I am going to play with this later on so I can figure out how we can make different class books.

Tool #2

1. What are your thoughts about building an online education community and participating in a PLN?
I'm not sure what to think about participating in a PLN.  I have never done it but I am willing to try it.  If it works it will be great because then I can get ideas and feedback from other teachers.
2. What point stood out to you from the commenting advice?
I never thought of interacting with other people.  I guess if you think about it you should comment on what other people say about your blog because then people won't give you their advice or ideas.
3. What five blogs did you select for your comments? (you may need to come back and add this information later by editing this post.)
I am going to comment on Bridgette Stinnett, Michelle Hammack, Susan Wilkins, Maria Orozco and Nelda De La Rosa.
